Established in November 2006, the China Chamber of Commerce for Motorcycle（CCCM）is the only national social organization with an independent legal person status, approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and supervised by the Ministry of Commerce. It currently has more than 100 members covering enterprises, public institutions and organizationsengaged in manufacture, trade and services of motorcycles and related products. With “China” in the name, CCCM is the first pilot unit for China’s deepening revolution in chamber management. Its establishment and development have involved with the help of the state leaders and the solicitude of leaders from the Ministry of Commerce. CCCM has achieved a productive work in the field of abolishing the vehicle purchase tax for motorcycles with a displacement below 150cc, improving export rebate rate for motorcycles, helping motorcycle products “go to the countryside” as well as reporting the demands of motorcycle enterprises to the government and safeguarding the rights and interests of the whole industry.
